For more than a year the citizens of Eastern Idaho braced themselves for a spectacle unlike any other: a total solar eclipse. They hunted for the best viewing spots and prepared for the crowds that would inevitably descend on the area for the rare event on Aug. 21, 2017. Now that the crowds have gone home and life has returned to normal, all that’s left are the memories and the breathtaking images.
