A brief introductory section explains the nature of the rocks forming the landscape and the processes of erosion which have shaped them over the ages. The book then covers over 60 sites, including Wastwater Screes, Malham, Dovedale, the Devil’s Bridge, Nant Ffrancon, the Norfolk Broads, the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head in Sussex, Symon’s Yat, Cheddar Gorge, Lulworth Cove, the Valley of Rocks and the Dartmoor tors.
